How it's calculated
① Average color: each member's RGB values are averaged arithmetically to produce the team's memorial color (HEX). ② Dispersion: each member color's hue distance from that average (0°–180°) is averaged. ③ If a color is achromatic (white, black, gray), the calculation uses lightness difference instead of hue.
Not fortune-telling — a published calculation.
How this tool works (transparent math & privacy)
The average color and the dispersion are both calculated inside your browser. Dates and names are never sent to or stored on a server, and reloading the page clears what you typed. Results appear once 2–8 members are filled in.
FAQ
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
Free, and no sign-up. Everything is calculated in your browser — nothing you enter is stored on a server.
How are the average color and dispersion calculated?
The average color is the arithmetic mean of each member's RGB values. Dispersion is the average hue distance (0°–180°) between each member color and that average. If a color is achromatic (white, black, gray), lightness difference is used instead of hue.
How many members can I add? Are names saved?
Between 2 and 8. Names and team names stay in your browser — never sent, never stored — and disappear when you reload the page.
